"My paintings make people feel happy and often nostalgic. I paint food and animals with foods to bring a little humor into art collections. A culinary crown makes perfect sense!".
JJ Galloway is an internationally collected artist whose whimsical paintings and sculptures of people, animals, and food have found their way into public and private collections worldwide. Working in oils, watercolors, and mixed media, she brings a traditional hand and a quietly subversive sense of humor to every canvas — most notably in her celebrated culinary animal series, in which creatures of every variety wear their meals like crowns. Her work is regularly shown in major art markets including New York, London, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and she maintains an active commission queue for collectors who want their a custom piece.

JJ Contemporary Atelier
JJ Contemporary Atelier was born from a simple idea: that great artists deserve great platforms, and that getting there is easier — and better — together. Founded by artist JJ Galloway, the Atelier is a curated collective of visual artists who exhibit together at premier art fairs across the United States — with New York City at its heart.
Breaking into the world of fine art fairs is no small feat. The costs are high, the logistics complex, and the doors aren't always easy to open. The Atelier changes that. By bringing together a select group of accomplished emerging artists and sharing the resources of a professionally managed booth, we give talented artists access to serious collectors and world-class fair audiences — without having to navigate it alone. Every artist is personally chosen by JJ for the quality and originality of their work, ensuring a cohesive, compelling booth experience that collectors trust and return to.
JJ reviews submissions daily. Artists are welcome to submit their website, a brief description of your practice and contact info for review.
Please note that there is no need to follow up. We will review every submission and if there is any potential, we will be in touch.

Speaker
Art Enrichment Lecturer · Smithsonian Institution · Boutique Cruise Enrichment
Jill J. Galloway is an art enrichment lecturer and public speaker whose presentations bring the history, mystery, and business of art to life for audiences around the world. She lectures regularly at the Smithsonian Institution — both in the galleries and virtually to hundreds of participants globally — and leads enrichment programs aboard boutique cruise ships, where her lecture series have covered subjects ranging from the Dutch Golden Age masters to the shadowy economics of the international art auction market.
Before her career in the arts, Jill earned a dual degree in Fine Art and Marketing and spent a decade in public relations, beginning as a reporter for CBS News and rising to lead communications at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, where she also served on the board of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. That rare combination — a practicing artist with a broadcaster's instinct for story, a publicist's command of an audience, and a scholar's depth of knowledge — makes her a compelling and sought-after voice in art enrichment lectures.
